Billing

Settings → Billing (/settings/billing) shows your subscription: which tier you are on, whether it is active, and what each tier unlocks.

  • What the page shows
  • Status matters as much as tier
  • A plan that does not renew
  • Changing plan
  • See also
  • Your current plan — Essential, Elevate, Enhanced or Enterprise.
  • Its status — active, active until a date when Shopify will not renew it, or cancelled.
  • Order allowance — counted releases, the confirmed billing cycle, and any warning, grace deadline or required plan.
  • What each tier unlocks — so an upgrade decision is made with the list in front of you.

Billing goes through Shopify, so the subscription lives with the rest of your Shopify app charges rather than as a separate invoice to reconcile.

Only an active subscription grants features.

StatusEffect
ActiveYour tier’s features are unlocked.
No plan yetA fresh install. Setup works; new orders are released once Shopify confirms a plan.
CancelledNo active plan. Paid feature gates close and new order releases require an active subscription.
Test plan · no chargeFloormode’s own test plan for development stores: every feature is unlocked and it is never charged. A plan you choose on a development store is a free test charge too, but it keeps that plan’s tier: Essential stays Essential.

The core WMS and OMS is included in Essential. Already released fulfillment work, inventory operations, imports and synchronization can continue when an order allowance expires. New releases require the indicated confirmed plan. Subscription status and the allowance grace period are separate; see how orders count.

A plan can stay Active while Shopify has already scheduled its end. The usual case: you uninstalled Floormode, which cancels the plan, and reinstalled it before the period was over. The billing page then says Your plan does not renew and names the day: Your plan ends on the end of the current billing cycle, or of the trial when no paid cycle has started.

Until that day your tier’s features stay on, and new orders keep being released as far as your order allowance allows. From that day the store has no active plan, as in Cancelled above. Choose a plan before then to keep releasing orders without a gap.

Uninstalling is separate: uninstalling the last connected store deletes your warehouse data at once, even while the plan itself is still active until its end date.

Upgrades and downgrades happen through Shopify’s hosted pricing page: Manage plan in Shopify, or Choose a plan on its card. Shopify asks you to confirm the change, and Floormode verifies the actual current contract before updating access. A scheduled change does not unlock features early. On a development store, Shopify approves any plan as a free test charge.

There are no automatic paid upgrades and no per-order fees. Enterprise is listed for up to 40,000 orders a month.
