Updates from Shopify
Shopify tells Floormode about new orders, edited products and changed quantities. Each update is applied in order; the Shopify updates tab on Settings → Integrations shows what arrived and what is still being processed.

How Shopify updates reach Floormode
Section titled “How Shopify updates reach Floormode”Shopify sends an update for every change; Floormode also imports pages of data when you install and when it re-checks. An update counts as done once it is processed, not when it arrives.
Reading the status line
Section titled “Reading the status line”Inbound from Shopify shows how many updates are queued, processing, applied in the last 24 hours, retrying, and failed. Zero failed is the normal state.
When an update fails
Section titled “When an update fails”A failed update is listed with its reason. Fix the cause (usually a Shopify location that is not linked to a warehouse), then click Retry. Nothing is applied twice.
Recovering a lost update
Section titled “Recovering a lost update”When the original update is no longer available, Floormode can fetch the current record from Shopify and process that instead. Enter the Shopify ID from the failed update and a short reference; the request is kept in the audit trail under your name.
What recovery cannot restore
Section titled “What recovery cannot restore”Recovery uses Shopify’s current state. A hold that was placed and lifted in between, or a quantity that changed again since, is not replayed as history.
When Shopify slows Floormode down
Section titled “When Shopify slows Floormode down”Shopify limits how fast an app may call it. Floormode waits and retries by itself; the panel shows when the next attempt is due. Nothing is lost.
