Checkout options
A mapped checkout option wins. Otherwise your shipping rules decide, then the cheapest rate.
Every shipping option your customers choose at checkout (“DPD before 10:30”, “Standard”, “Pickup at Store Mitte”) appears under Settings → Automation → Checkout options with its first order. There is nothing to type. When Floormode imports your store it also reads the options of the orders from the last 60 days, so the list shows what your shop sells from the start.

Map an option
Section titled “Map an option”- Open Settings → Automation → Checkout options. Options that need review are at the top.
- In the Ship with column, choose Choose… (or the current service).
- Pick the exact carrier service, grouped by carrier account. Or pick Shipping rules decide.
The choice is saved at once and applies to every order with this option from then on. Labels already bought are not changed.
- Pickup and local delivery take no label. They are listed, but cannot be mapped.
- A carrier account marked Reconnect needed can still be chosen. Its orders follow your shipping rules until you reconnect it under Settings → Carriers & packaging.
- Back to unreviewed in the picker undoes a mapping.
Suggestions and review
Section titled “Suggestions and review”- Needs review changes nothing: those orders follow your shipping rules, then the cheapest rate, as before. The line above the list says how many options still need review, and how many with open orders still need a carrier service.
- Same as ”…” under an option offers the mapping of an option it looks renamed from. One click takes it.
- Use … under an option offers the service you picked by hand for its last three labels (a rate you chose yourself, not the one your rules suggested). One click maps it; nothing is mapped without that click.
- Options nobody chose for 30 days are greyed out. At most 200 options are listed; the line above the list says when more were seen.
- Shipping → Rules links here and says how many options still need review.
Map it where you see it
Section titled “Map it where you see it”You do not have to open Settings to map an option. The customer’s choice is shown where the work happens, and Map… opens the same picker there:
- The order page. Each fulfillment starts with “Customer chose …” and what it ships with. The Ship to card repeats it, with Shopify’s delivery promise when there is one.
- A new shipment. The carrier account opens on the mapped account. An option nobody mapped yet says so, with Map…. A mapped account that is not connected is said out loud, never switched silently.
- The pack station. A line between the order note and the checklist says what the customer chose and what the label uses: mapped, not mapped yet (Map this option), shipping rules decide, not offered for this parcel, or unclear (Shopify combined several rates). It never holds back Fulfil.
- Ship all buys the mapped service, else the rate your rules pick, else the cheapest. When the carrier did not offer the mapped service, it leaves that shipment for you to pick its rate.
- Floor Mode. The pack screen shows the customer’s choice as a chip. It cannot be mapped there: the label prints at the pack station.
Map… is offered to people whose role holds Automation, routing and shipping rules. Everyone else sees the words without the button.
Find orders by their option
Section titled “Find orders by their option”On Orders, + Filter → Shipping option lists the orders with a fulfillment that ships under one option, picked from this list. With open statuses only (Open, Unfulfilled, Partially fulfilled) it lists the work still to ship. Add the Shipping option column under Columns to see each order’s option.
Use an option in a rule
Section titled “Use an option in a rule”Shipping rules and automation rules can test Shipping option:
- is, is not and is one of pick options from this list, never typed text.
- contains matches part of the option’s name, for example “Express”.
Example: Shipping option is “DPD before 10:30” → Set priority: High puts those orders first for the 10:30 collection.
