Stores

Settings → Stores (/settings/stores) lists the Shopify stores that share this Floormode account. They share one stock, one warehouse floor and one team; each store keeps its own orders, its own plan and its own Shopify. Admins see it.

The store the account was made from is the Main store. Its plan sets the account’s features and its order allowance. If it leaves, the store that joined first becomes the main store.

  1. In this account: Settings → Stores → Connect another store. Tick These stores belong to the same business. and choose Create code. The code has 12 characters and works once, for 15 minutes.

  2. In the other store: open Floormode there, then Settings → Stores → Join another Floormode account, and enter the code.

  3. Read the checks. Floormode shows every check with its verdict. The store must be fresh (no Floormode work of its own yet), have an active plan, sell in the same currency, and fit: at most ten stores in one account, and the stores’ orders together within what one account holds. Its orders must also have been counted, and it must not still be leaving that account. The preview also lists what that store’s own Floormode settings lose: its people, roles, carrier accounts, rules, templates, saved views, webhooks, app connections and custom domains.

  4. Tick the same box and choose Join.

Its Shopify orders and products are read again under this account. Nothing in Shopify changes.

A joined store sells nothing from your warehouse until you start it. On its page, choose Start: three steps, and nothing is written to the store until the last one.

StepWhat you do
LocationsPick which of the store’s Shopify locations ship from which of your warehouses.
ProductsLink each product to the item you already stock. Accept all links the exact matches; Check needs your pick; Leave alone keeps a product out; Bring in Shopify’s count adds one you don’t stock yet.
StartRead the preview of the changes, then Start. From then on, every linked product’s number in that store is Floormode’s.
CardWhat it shows
Stock updatesWhether Floormode updates this store’s numbers, checked every night. When the store’s numbers differ, Count counts those bins and Re-set sends your numbers again; Re-set asks first, and Keep Shopify’s leaves them as they are.
ProductsEvery link, the automatic ones and the ones you accepted, each with Undo.
PlanThe store’s own plan. If it ends, that store’s new orders wait for its renewal; its stock keeps updating.
Who joined itWho joined the store. Someone the account already knows by the same verified email is the same person, with their role. Anyone else who opens Floormode through a joined store has no role until an Admin gives one (Give a role).
When this store leavesWhat happens to its open orders if it uninstalls Floormode: hold their stock for 14 days (recommended), or put it back at once.
  • Lists show a Store column and a Store filter, and every order carries its store’s badge.
  • Two stores can both have an order #1001. Search finds both. On the floor, scanning a number two stores share asks you to scan the pick list or the tote instead.

A store that uninstalls Floormode leaves the account. While its orders’ stock is held, Held orders on its page lists them, each with Back to stock; Put all back now releases them all. Then Floormode removes the store’s data from the account.
