Subscription plans

Floormode has four tiers, set under Settings → Billing (/settings/billing). Almost everything in this documentation is on Essential; only five features need a higher tier.

  • The four tiers
  • Choosing a plan
  • What each tier unlocks
  • How orders count and what happens at the limit
  • What happens if payment fails

All plans are billed monthly through Shopify and start with a 14-day free trial.

TierPriceOrders / monthFor
Essential$20/moup to 300The full WMS + OMS: orders, picking, packing, receiving, counts, returns, inventory and FEFO allocation.
Elevate$49/moup to 1,500Everything in Essential plus the automation rules engine, pick profiles, reports and stock value.
Enhanced$99/moup to 5,000Everything in Elevate plus multi-order picking.
Enterprise$199/moup to 40,000Everything in Enhanced plus the external REST + MCP API, outgoing webhooks and priority support.

Setup works without a plan: you can link locations, add bins, import stock and go live. New orders are released to the floor once Shopify confirms a plan. Choose one under Settings → Billing; Shopify shows the plan and asks you to approve it. On a development store, Shopify approves any plan as a free test charge.

Five features need a tier above Essential. If a feature is not in this table, it is on every tier.

Everything else — the order queue, holds, splits and merges, the fulfillment queue, pick batches, scan-verified packing, carrier rates and labels, freight, receiving, cycle counts, adjustments, the movement ledger, bins, placement, returns and the order and returns pages in your store, replenishment, FEFO (expiry-first) allocation and all of Floor Mode — is on Essential.

How orders count and what happens at the limit

Section titled “How orders count and what happens at the limit”

The allowance follows your confirmed Shopify billing cycle, not a calendar month. An order counts once when Floormode first releases it for fulfillment: picking, dispatch to a dropship vendor, or a direct shipping-label purchase or freight booking. Importing an order, reserving stock, preparing a shipment or requesting a rate does not count. Open older orders count when first released for work.

Edits, discounts, split shipments and repeat processing do not count the same order again. Historical imports, draft orders and test orders do not consume the allowance. A cancellation before release does not count; a return after release does not undo work already counted. Work started before allowance tracking was introduced continues without a retrospective count.

On Essential, Elevate and Enhanced, Floormode shows a warning at 80% of the allowance. If you exceed the allowance, new releases can continue until the current billing cycle ends. After that grace period, confirm the indicated plan or a higher plan in Shopify to release new orders. Existing fulfillment work, imports, inventory operations and synchronization continue. Changing the calendar month does not erase an unresolved upgrade requirement.

No plan has per-order fees, and there are no automatic paid upgrades: Shopify asks you to confirm a plan change. Enterprise is listed for up to 40,000 orders a month; Floormode shows no warning and holds no order for an Enterprise store’s volume.

The billing page shows the last verified plan, cycle and any grace deadline. While Shopify has not provided the current cycle, Floormode does not display an invented usage period. Trial work before the first paid cycle is not carried into that cycle’s allowance.

Only an active subscription grants the paid feature tier. When Shopify confirms that no active subscription remains, releasing new orders also requires an active plan. Already released fulfillment work can continue. A temporary failure to read Shopify does not erase your last verified subscription or your data. Payment status and the order-allowance grace period are separate.

The billing page shows your current plan, its status, and what each tier unlocks.
