Finding your way around

The app has eight places. Everything else is a tab or a sub-page inside one of them. Learn this table and you can find anything.

  • The eight nav entries
  • Home is not a nav entry

Floor Mode/floorThe scanner screen for the warehouse floor

Floor Mode sits last on purpose: it leaves the admin chrome behind. Opening it replaces the whole shell with the full-screen scanner surface.

Home (/) is reached by clicking the app name, the way every Shopify app works. It does not take one of the nav slots.

Clicking a nav entry never shows a page of its own — it lands on that section’s first tab. /inventory takes you to /inventory/stock, /fulfillment to /fulfillment/queue.

Two tabs are marked Advanced: Release (/fulfillment/release) and Placement (/inventory/placement). They are fully visible and fully usable — the label just says “most warehouses never need to touch this”.

Detail pages (an order, a pick batch, a receipt, a count task) are not tabs. They keep their section’s nav entry highlighted and get a breadcrumb instead.

Settings is the one entry whose children are not a tab strip. It renders a sidebar-within-the-page with twelve sections in three groups — Operations (from Warehouses to Carriers & packaging), Customers (Customer notifications, Customer pages, Customer privacy) and Account (from Integrations to Billing) — each breadcrumbed.

A URL that matches nothing shows a proper “Page not found” with a link home, rather than quietly dropping you on the dashboard.
