Search everything
Click Search in the header. One box searches eight kinds of record, and the app’s pages by name, and takes you straight to the result.
In standalone Floormode, press ⌘K (Ctrl K on Windows). Inside Shopify, use Alt+Shift+K (Option+Shift+K on Mac) while focus is in Floormode. Shopify keeps ⌘K/Ctrl K for its own Admin search. You can always reach the Floormode Search button with Tab and press Enter.

What it searches
Section titled “What it searches”| Kind | Typical thing you type |
|---|---|
| Orders | Order number, customer name |
| Products & SKUs | SKU, product or variant title, barcode |
| Shipments | Tracking number |
| Returns | The return Shopify announced |
| Return requests | A customer’s request from the returns page |
| Return receipts | What actually arrived back |
| Lots | A lot or batch number, or its start |
| Serial numbers | A unit’s serial number |
| Pages | A page’s name, such as “Receiving” or “Billing” |
Results are grouped by kind, and picking one opens that record, its page or its panel, rather than a filtered list you then have to read. A return request opens the Requests list, which says so on the result.
How to use it
Section titled “How to use it”Start typing. There is no “search in” selector and no advanced syntax to learn; the box looks in every kind at once and ranks what it finds. If you already know the exact identifier, type it — an order number or a tracking number lands on the record directly.
Why Floor Mode has no search
Section titled “Why Floor Mode has no search”Floor Mode deliberately has no search box and no keyboard shortcut. A scanner gun is a keyboard: it types fast and it presses keys nobody chose. If ⌘K worked on the floor, a barcode scan mid-pick could open a search overlay and swallow the rest of the scan.
